Sales Assistant

We are looking for a Sales Assistant to support daily sales operations and provide dependable administrative coordination for a busy team in Clarksville, Tennessee. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping information organized, communicating effectively, and contributing to a positive customer-focused environment. The role is fully onsite and offers the opportunity to work closely with sales staff while helping maintain efficient internal processes.

Responsibilities:
• Enter and maintain sales-related information accurately in company systems and records.
• Provide administrative support to the sales team by organizing documents, updating files, and tracking routine activity.
• Assist with inbound and outbound sales support tasks to help the team respond promptly to customer and business needs.
• Coordinate closely with outside sales staff to help manage follow-up items and day-to-day account activity.
• Communicate with a detail-oriented, goal-focused approach when interacting with internal teams and external contacts.
• Receive feedback constructively and adjust priorities or work methods as needed to support team goals.
• Help ensure sales materials, order details, and related information remain current and easy to access.
• Contribute to a productive onsite office environment during standard business hours.
• Support coverage for tasks currently being handled by other sales team members as the role transitions into place.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in sales support, inside sales, administrative coordination, or a related office-based role.
• Strong data entry skills with consistent attention to accuracy and detail.
• Solid administrative abilities, including organization, documentation, and task follow-through.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to work well with different personalities.
• Openness to coaching and feedback, with a willingness to adapt in a fast-moving environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with customers and internal teams.
• Comfort working onsite in Clarksville, Tennessee during regular business hours.
• Familiarity with inside sales, direct sales, inbound sales, outbound sales, or general sales operations is preferred.

Compensation

$16.00-$18.00 Hourly
