Payroll Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to support a short-term contract assignment in Pennsylvania. This onsite role is ideal for someone who works confidently with Excel, enjoys handling payroll-related data, and can carefully review employee garnishment information with accuracy. The position offers regular hours, Monday through Friday, and is expected to begin as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain and update payroll spreadsheets to support the retro pay project and related tracking needs.
• Examine employee garnishment records for accuracy, completeness, and proper payroll handling.
• Organize and validate numerical data to help ensure payroll information is consistent and reliable.
• Assist with payroll-related administrative tasks during the contract assignment, prioritizing accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborate with the payroll team to identify discrepancies and support resolution of employee pay issues.
• Prepare and manage spreadsheet reports that summarize findings and support payroll processing activities.

Qualifications:

• Experience working in payroll or a closely related administrative support role.
• Knowledge of payroll garnishments and the ability to review records with a high level of accuracy.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including confidence working with spreadsheets and numerical data.
• Excellent attention to detail and comfort handling repetitive, data-focused tasks.
• Ability to work onsite in Allentown, Pennsylvania on a permanent Monday through Friday schedule.
• Availability to start quickly and support a short-term contract assignment.
