Property Manager
Responsibilities:
• Direct daily operations for the property, ensuring the community is well-managed, organized, and aligned with company standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, handling questions, resolving concerns, and fostering positive tenant relationships.
• Guide leasing efforts by supporting applicant processing, monitoring availability, and helping maintain target occupancy levels.
• Oversee rent collection activities, follow up on outstanding balances, and keep accurate payment records.
• Coordinate maintenance service requests with appropriate staff or vendors to support timely resolution and resident satisfaction.
• Manage certification and recertification documentation for affordable housing programs, ensuring files are complete and deadlines are met.
• Maintain accurate property records and prepare administrative reports using Yardi, Microsoft Office, and related systems.
• Enforce community policies and housing program requirements, including HUD compliance and other applicable regulations.
• Contribute to overall property performance by identifying operational needs and supporting process improvements in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in property management, preferably within residential or affordable housing communities.• Working knowledge of affordable housing regulations and compliance standards, including HUD program requirements.
• Experience with leasing, resident relations, rent collection, and complaint resolution.
• Proficiency with Yardi and Microsoft Office applications for reporting, documentation, and daily administrative tasks.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills with close attention to detail and record accuracy.
• Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally with residents, staff, and vendors.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fully onsite, fast-paced property management setting.
