Staff Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant in Middlesex County, NJ. In this role you will be responsible for bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, tax preparation. and financial reporting. If have 3+ years of experience as a Staff Accountant and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, this might be the opportunity for you! 

Responsibilities:

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

• Conduct bank reconciliations to maintain up-to-date financial records.

• Assist with the preparation of partnership, corporate, and individual tax filings in accordance with applicable requirements.

• Generate financial reports and provide insights to support financial decision-making.

• Collaborate with team members to resolve accounting issues and keep financial data current and accurate.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.

• 3+ years of experience in a Staff Accountant role. 

• Strong experience reconciling balance sheet accounts and correcting account discrepancies.

• Working knowledge of partnership tax and personal tax preparation.

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
