Project Assistant

We are looking for a Project Assistant to support a one-night culinary event in Spartanburg, South Carolina. This Contract position will serve as a key point of contact for attendees, helping create a welcoming and organized guest experience from arrival through the close of the event. The ideal candidate is personable, attentive, and comfortable assisting guests in a fast-paced event setting.

Responsibilities:
• Welcome attendees upon arrival and provide a detail-oriented, friendly first impression throughout the event.
• Manage guest check-in activities efficiently to help maintain a smooth entrance process.
• Respond to attendee questions regarding event details, timing, and general logistics.
• Offer on-site support to help guests navigate the venue and locate event areas or activities.
• Coordinate with event staff to address concerns quickly and keep operations running smoothly.
• Monitor guest flow in high-traffic areas and assist with crowd direction as needed.
• Help maintain an organized front-of-house environment during the chef showcase and tasting experience.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in event support, guest services, hospitality, or a similar customer-facing role.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of attendees.
• Ability to remain composed and helpful in a busy, fast-moving environment.
• Comfortable standing and moving throughout the event as needed.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow event instructions closely.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond appropriately to guest needs.
• Availability to work a one-night Contract assignment in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Compensation

$20.00-$20.00 Hourly
