Business Analyst
We are looking for a Business Analyst to support business and operational initiatives for a long-term contract opportunity in North Chicago, IL. This role focuses on gathering needs, evaluating current workflows, and translating business objectives into clear, actionable plans for stakeholders and project teams. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical thinking, effective communication, and the ability to work within Agile environments while improving customer-facing and internal processes.
Responsibilities:
• Partner with stakeholders to collect, clarify, and document business needs, ensuring requirements are complete and aligned with project goals.
• Review existing processes and identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement across business operations and customer service functions.
• Create and maintain business documentation such as process maps, requirement summaries, decision logs, and supporting analysis materials.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams in Agile Scrum settings to refine priorities, support planning activities, and help move initiatives forward.
• Analyze operational and service-related issues, recommend practical solutions, and assist with the evaluation of business impacts.
• Support document review efforts to confirm accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business standards and project expectations.
• Facilitate discussions with business partners and team members to resolve open questions, confirm scope, and maintain shared understanding.
• Contribute to change-related activities, including updates tied to business processes or platform-related improvements, when required by the project.
• Track action items, dependencies, and requirement changes to help keep deliverables organized and stakeholders informed.
Qualifications:
• Experience in business analysis with the ability to gather, interpret, and document business requirements clearly.• Background supporting customer service or call center operations in a business or process-focused capacity.
• Working knowledge of Agile Scrum practices and experience collaborating with delivery teams in iterative environments.
• Strong skills in gap analysis, process evaluation, and identifying opportunities for operational improvement.
• Ability to review documents carefully and produce accurate, well-structured business documentation.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when managing priorities, updates, and stakeholder input.
Compensation
