Full Charge Bookkeeper

We are looking for a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to support a growing organization in North Brookfield, Massachusetts. This Contract position is ideal for someone who can manage day-to-day accounting operations independently while maintaining accurate financial records and supporting timely reporting. The role offers the opportunity to contribute across core bookkeeping functions and assist with additional accounting-related assignments as needed.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee the full cycle of bookkeeping activities, ensuring financial transactions are recorded accurately and consistently.
• Process vendor invoices, verify payment details, and manage disbursements in a timely manner.
• Handle customer billing, track incoming payments, and follow up on outstanding balances to support healthy cash flow.
• Reconcile bank accounts and investigate discrepancies to maintain reliable financial data.
• Maintain and update accounting records in QuickBooks, ensuring documentation is complete and organized.
• Assist with ad hoc accounting projects and provide operational support for special assignments as business needs evolve.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience performing full charge bookkeeping duties in a business environment.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and confidence working within accounting software systems.
• Hands-on experience managing accounts payable processes from invoice review through payment.
• Practical knowledge of accounts receivable, including invoicing and payment tracking.
• Ability to complete bank reconciliations accurately and resolve variances efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work independently in a Contract role.

Compensation

$19.79-$22.91 Hourly
