Accounts Payable Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This role is responsible for processing invoices, reconciling vendor accounts, preparing payments, and supporting the day-to-day accounts payable function. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong internal controls and positive vendor relationships.

Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities

• Review, code, and process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and timely
• Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare and process check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers
• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate outstanding balances
• Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain strong professional relationships
• Maintain accurate accounts payable records and documentation
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and account reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting controls
• Support audits by providing requested AP documentation
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing and payment issues
• Help improve AP processes for efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications

• 1+ years of accounts payable, accounting support, or bookkeeping experience
• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
• Knowledge of accounts payable processes and basic accounting principles
• Experience with ERP systems or accounting software preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion
