Financial Analyst

Robert Half is currently recruiting for a Financial Analyst on behalf of a growing North County employer. This role will play a critical part in providing business leaders with actionable financial insights, budgeting support, forecasting analysis, and performance reporting. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of financial modeling, business intelligence, and strategic planning. This is a highly visible position offering direct interaction with executive leadership and opportunities to contribute to major business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts
• Analyze financial performance and business trends
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports
• Build financial models to support strategic initiatives
• Monitor key performance indicators and operational metrics
• Provide variance analysis and recommendations
• Support pricing, revenue, and profitability analysis
• Assist with long-range planning and capital expenditure analysis
• Partner with department leaders to improve financial performance
• Prepare presentations for executive leadership

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 3+ years of financial analysis experience
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling experience
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools preferred
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to translate financial information into business recommendations
