Human Resources Generalist

Robert Half is partnering with a growing North County San Diego employer that is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support a rapidly expanding workforce. This organization is known for its employee-focused culture, collaborative environment, and commitment to professional growth. This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats and wants to make a direct impact on company culture, employee engagement, talent acquisition, and compliance. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable supporting employees and leadership across all aspects of human resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes
• Support recruitment efforts including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring coordination
• Maintain employee records and HRIS systems
• Administer benefits programs and assist employees with enrollment and inquiries
• Provide guidance regarding policies, procedures, and employment practices
• Assist with employee relations matters and investigations
• Ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws
• Support performance management initiatives and annual review processes
• Coordinate employee engagement programs and company events
• Partner with leadership on workforce planning and organizational initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3+ years of progressive HR experience
• Strong knowledge of California employment law
• Experience with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus
