Commercial Litigation Paralegal
Our client, boutique aviation law firm is seeking a 15 plus years commercial litigation paralegal to support the growing litigation practice. The commercial litigation paralegal will take ownership of case workflows, will proactively manage deadlines and filings, manage multiple active litigation matters from intake to resolution, monitor the docket for all the active litigation matters, track state and federal court deadlines, organize case files, chronologies, and case summaries. The senior litigation paralegal with draft pleadings, motions, notices, declarations, and discovery documents, prepare deposition summaries, chronologies, assistant with appellate -related tasks, including cite checking and deadline coordination. The senior litigation paralegal with manage discovery processes from start to finish, organize and review document productions, track discovery, prepare summaries and file documents in state and federal courts. The senior litigation paralegal will monitor filing status and ensure that all filings are accepted. The senior litigation paralegal will prepare damages summaries, financial breakdowns, and valuation scheduled uses in filings, mediations, and negotiations. The senior litigation paralegal will assist with trial preparation as needed, including exhibits, witness materials, and trial binders. 10 plus years within the last 15 years of commercial or business litigation experience.
Experience using Everlaw or similar e-discovery platforms to manage document review, tagging, production, and case analysis.
Strong understanding of litigation workflows, discovery, and court procedures
Experience filing in state and federal courts
Ability to manage multiple matters independently
High attention to detail and reliability under deadline pressure
Experience with damages summaries or financial analyses is highly preferred.
Experience using Bloomberg Law, Westlaw or Co-Counsel for litigation research, docket tracking, and court rule analysis is highly preferred. Qualifications:
• At least 5+ years of paralegal experience, with significant background in commercial, business, or complex litigation matters.• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple active cases independently while maintaining strong attention to detail under demanding deadlines.
• Hands-on experience with discovery processes, including document review, production coordination, and litigation support workflows.
• Working knowledge of state and federal court procedures, including electronic filing and docket management.
• Proficiency with e-discovery platforms such as Everlaw or similar tools used for document analysis, tagging, and production management.
• Familiarity with litigation research and court rule resources such as Bloomberg Law, Westlaw, or comparable legal research platforms is preferred.
• Experience preparing damages analyses, financial summaries, or valuation-related materials is strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and reliability skills with the ability to support attorneys in a fast-paced litigation environment.
Compensation
