Job Summary-
The role of the License & Permit Supervisor is to lead the License & Permitting team and ensure success in all aspects of National ACE and National Account permitting activities as they are delivered through the AmeriGas organization. Drives resolution of internal and customer-related issues for National customers where permits to sell propane are required along with providing proactive value-add services to increase customer loyalty. The Supervisor will lead the team to execute several permitting tasks on behalf of our customers at an expert level for each individual customer account with a sense of urgency. Knowledge of each account, state and federal regulations and project timelines are essential for success in this role. Partner with implementation coordinators, sales, project managers and all other roles that touch National ACE and National Account customers to acquire permits and ensure the best customer experience possible.

- State & Federal Regulations – knowledgeable in National Fire Protection regulations including NFPA 58 and other regulations pertinent to propane permits.
- Project Management – works with key stakeholders to meet timelines, solve problems and ensure success.
Duties and Responsibilities-
- Manages all service aspects of the license and permit workload, from immediate issue resolution to short- and long-term process changes to continual delivery of value-added services to National ACE & National Account customers.
- Provides frequent progress updates on license and permit activities at the customer, location, deadline and category level for executive reporting and exception management.
- Ensure all License & Permit Representatives are following the same, consistent processes and MS Dynamics 365 for permit tracking, resolution and external/internal communications with a sense of urgency for delivery of consistent service levels to all involved.
- Identify pain points in the current processes and develop solutions to streamline the processes.
- Project manage select customer timelines for new installations, annual renewals and violations on an as-needed basis.

- Ability to supervise, problem solve, communicate in a busy environment and prioritize the daily activities effectively, while maintaining positive relationships.
- Organizational skills to balance high value projects with daily business objectives and adjust as priorities and schedules fluctuate
- Maturity to handle moderate to complex organizational issues
Education and Experience-
- Bachelor's degree required. Business degree preferred.
- 4+ years progressive experience in corporate environment
- Supervisory experience preferred
