SARA is looking for a remarkably talented, motivated, and experienced Human Resources Junior Total Rewards Analyst to support activities out of our Colorado Springs, CO location. The candidate will have the opportunity to grow and learn supporting our talented engineers, physicists, and technicians on long-standing programs and new programs supporting our customers.

Detail-oriented and analytical, the Human Resources Junior Total Rewards Analyst will support the administration of compensation, benefits, wellness, and recognition programs. This role will assist in ensuring competitive and compliant total rewards programs that support employee engagement, retention, and organizational objectives.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Support SARA’s Total Rewards program including benefits, compensation, retirement plan, and leave programs
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to benefits and compensation
  • Maintain employee benefit records and HRIS data accuracy
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment, eligibility questions, and claim resolution
  • Assist with compensation analysis, salary benchmarking, and market research
  • Partner with payroll to ensure accurate deductions and benefit processing
  • Support job evaluations and compensation structure administration
  • Assist with reports and analyze compensation and benefits data
  • Assist in administering employee recognition and wellness programs
  • Support annual open enrollment planning and execution
  • Support communication efforts related to total rewards offerings
  • Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives

 

Requirements:

  • 2 years’ professional experience supporting compensation, salary administration, and HR data analysis
  • Experience working with HRIS systems and Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance
  • May require light physical effort, including standing, sitting, and use of hands while performing duties, and carrying or lifting up to 15 pounds
  • Working environment is indoor, moderately quiet, reasonably clean, well-lit, and well-ventilated

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now, Unanet, Deltek Costpoint
  • Certifications with SHRM-CP, PHR, CEBS, CBP, CCP, etc.

Pay Range

Salary at SARA is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,000 to $80,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of SARA’s total compensation package for employees. Positions are on-site, unless indicated otherwise.
