Mandatory Qualifications:

1. At least five (5) years of experience, within the last eight (8) years, using Information Technology (IT) project management practices and principles on complex system implementation projects, project management standards (e.g. PMBOK™), and project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project) and techniques to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet customer and business needs.

2. At least three (3) years of experience, within the last five (5) years, as a Master Scheduler or Lead Scheduler of IT projects with budgets of at least $200 million and involving multiple business areas.

3. At least three (3) years of experience, within the last eight (8) years, analyzing complex schedules, identifying resource constraints and conflicts, leveling resources on projects with 200 or more resources, and recommending corrective action if needed.

Desired Qualification:

1. Three (3) or more years of experience, within the last five (5) years, of advanced project scheduling skills and/or experience, including, but not limited to, planning, developing, analyzing and reporting on complex project schedules and program data, and working collaboratively with a variety of consultants, project staff, senior managers and representatives of other business areas to successfully develop and implement the program objectives.

2. An advanced Project Management Institute (PMI) scheduling certification (e.g. PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP)® or equivalent) as evidenced by submission of a copy of the certification.

3. Three (3) or more years of experience, within the last five (5) years, managing resource-loaded Microsoft Project 2010 schedule(s) that are integrated with CA Project Portfolio Management (PPM) (i.e. CA Clarity).

4. Three (3) or more years of experience with advanced project program metrics development and reporting.

5. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate information, proposals, and recommendations clearly and logically, written and verbally, to both technical and non-technical audiences.

6. Excellent customer relationship management and effective management and leadership skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management, consultants, employees, vendors and other encounters in the course of work.

7. Demonstrated understanding of the relevance or purpose served by individual projects in relation to larger business and/or program goals.

8. Demonstrated ability to exercise tact and diplomacy in dealing with sensitive, complex, and confidential issues and situations. Exercise sound, expert independent judgement within general policy guidelines.

The compensation for this position is $140,000 to $160,000 per year depending on experience and qualifications. Employees are also eligible for performance-based bonus/ to participate in a performance-based incentive plan. This position is eligible for a benefits package including; medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, 7 paid holidays and 13 days accrued PTO.
