Overview
This position is responsible for leading efforts in statistical modeling, and analysis of structured and unstructured datasets to develop metrics, reports, applications, and visualizations. It identifies and captures data from internal and external sources, uses analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict, and enhance procurement & supply chain processes. It will ensure cross-team activities’ consistency throughout ongoing projects to support SCM planning and operations to support business growth
Responsibilities
- Create data visualizations
- Troubleshoot and test database technical issues with the development team
- Independently analyze data sets to identify opportunities for increased accuracy and efficiency
- Perform quality assurance on data/process control
- Handle data-related technical issues and support data infrastructure needs
- Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business
- Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems.

- Data visualization, building dashboards, reporting, and data modeling.
- Independently facilitate and perform assigned development activities to support procurement activities
- Advanced data analysis and modelling to support supply chain management transformation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction with project outcomes
- Effectively communicate complex data/process insights to non-technical stakeholders using clear and concise language to ensure alignment and maximize impact
- Drive commodity management process & methodology standardization to support business needs
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A), ideally in Information Technology or a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
EXPERIENCE:
- 2 years + related experience in data analytics within supply chain
OTHER SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:
- Builds productive internal and external working relationships
- Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
- SQL skills; including creating and modifying macros, creating dashboards using SQL coding, programing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills to include; formulas, functions, pivot tables, lookup and reference formulas (i.e. vlookups), statistical formulas (countifs, sumifs), macros (ability to create new and edit existing), conditional formatting, importing data, creating graphs/charts, etc.
- Ability to independently analyze large amounts of data; including the ability to identify, analyze, and interpret trends, gaps, patterns in complex data sets
- Microsoft and other digitalization tools development skills & experiences, such as PowerBI, QlikView
- Experience on "Should Cost" model analysis
- Ability to perform advanced data analysis, such as Data acquisition, data engineering, development data platform and technology, Predictive Analytic
