About This Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Treasury Management Consultant to join our Global Payments and Liquidity team within Enterprise Functions. This role is ideal for a client-focused professional who is passionate about helping middle market businesses optimize their treasury operations through innovative payment, liquidity, and cash management solutions.

As a trusted partner to relationship managers, business bankers, and clients, you will leverage your treasury management expertise, consultative approach, and strong relationship-building skills to identify opportunities, drive client engagement, and deliver meaningful business outcomes.

Success in this role requires strategic thinking, effective communication, adaptability, and the ability to collaborate across teams to solve complex client challenges and enhance the overall client experience.

In This Role, You Will

  • Partner with Senior Treasury Management Consultants, Relationship Managers, and Business Bankers to deepen existing client relationships and identify opportunities to expand treasury management solutions.
  • Consult with middle market clients to understand business needs and recommend treasury management products and services that drive efficiency, growth, and operational effectiveness.
  • Analyze client requirements, evaluate potential solutions, and provide thoughtful recommendations that support business objectives and improve client outcomes.
  • Build strong partnerships across sales, service, implementation, and product teams to deliver a seamless client experience and support successful solution delivery.
  • Navigate complex client situations by applying sound judgment, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of treasury management products, policies, and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable solutions and fostering trust-based relationships.
  • Continuously develop expertise in treasury management offerings, industry trends, and client needs to provide consultative guidance and strategic value.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Treasury Management Consulting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of treasury management products and services, including the ability to align solutions with client operational and cash management needs.
  • Experience serving as a trusted advisor to clients by identifying opportunities, recommending solutions, and supporting treasury management strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong partnerships with middle market clients, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional business partners.
  • Strong consultative, relationship management, and client engagement skills with the ability to influence and drive positive business outcomes.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences and simplify complex concepts.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams, navigate ambiguity, and adapt to changing business priorities while maintaining a high level of execution.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience.

Job Expectations:

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule

  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
