Position Description

Provides project management, including adherence to budget, schedule, and scope. Plans, schedules, or coordinates project activities to meet deadlines. Monitors project compliance. Coordinates the overall integration of the project. Supervises and directs project personnel; assigns duties and responsibilities.

Major/Essential Functions

  • Project Planning and Execution - Develops and maintains project plans for 100% of assigned projects; ensures 90% of milestones are delivered on time; keeps projects within approved scope, and within budget, and timeline.
  • Stakeholder and Team Coordination - Conducts regular project meetings (at least biweekly); ensures task assignments are clear and tracked; resolves the majority of project barriers within 3-5 business days; maintains consistent stakeholder engagement.
  • Budget and Resource Management - Monitors project budgets monthly; maintains expenditures within the approved budget; ensures appropriate allocation and utilization of resources across projects.
  • Risk and Compliance Oversight - Identifies and documents key risks for all active projects; updates risk logs regularly; escalates high-risk issues within 24-48 hours; ensures adherence to applicable policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting - Tracks milestones and KPIs across all projects; provides status updates at least monthly ( or as required); maintains accurate and current project documentation.
  • Process Improvement and Change Management - Supports or leads 1-2 process improvement or change initiatives annually; documents lessons learned for 100% of completed projects; contributes to measurable improvements in project delivery or operational outcomes.
Other Duties as Assigned - Completes assigned responsibilities within agreed timelines; maintains responsiveness within 1 business day.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree plus three years related experience; OR a combination of education and/or related experience to equal seven years.

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of healthcare operations, compliance requirements, and process improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in project management software and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills.
- Skill in developing project charters, work breakdown structures, risk registers, and communication plans.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and navigate organizational change.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to use data to inform decision-making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to executive leadership.
- Ability to foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
