Director – Analytics & Market Intelligence
Your role at Delta Faucet:
The Leader of the Analytics & Market Intelligence Center of Excellence (CoE) is responsible for setting the vision, prioritization, and execution of enterprise analytics and market intelligence capabilities. This role oversees a cross-functional team spanning data science and competitive/market intelligence and serves as a critical connector between business strategy, analytics delivery, and technology.
The leader ensures that analytics initiatives, investments, and market insights directly inform business decisions, drive growth, and align with enterprise priorities.
Key Responsibilities
1. CoE Strategy, Governance & Prioritization
· Define and lead the Analytics & Market Intelligence CoE strategy aligned to enterprise and business unit priorities
· Own intake, prioritization, and portfolio management of analytics, insights, and related initiatives across the organization
· Facilitate recurring governance forums (e.g., portfolio reviews, analytics forums, AI council participation) to align stakeholders and manage demand vs. capacity
· Establish and monitor KPIs, success metrics, and value realization across all CoE initiatives
· Ensure alignment between analytics roadmap, investments, and broader digital / IT strategy
2. Team Leadership & Organizational Development
· Lead and develop a team of five, consisting of two direct reports (over Market Intelligence and Data Science)
· Provide coaching, performance management, and career development for direct and indirect reports
· Foster a high-performance culture focused on business impact, collaboration, and innovation
· Ensure effective cross-functional collaboration between analytics, insights, IT, and business stakeholders
3. Advanced Analytics, AI & Data Science Delivery
· Oversee execution of advanced analytics and AI initiatives, ensuring projects are prioritized, resourced, and delivered effectively
· Oversee the team who manages the development and productionization of models (e.g., forecasting, optimization, AI-enabled applications)
· Manage external vendor partnerships and engagements (e.g., AI/analytics vendors, consultants)
· Ensure governance and tracking of initiatives against defined milestones and enterprise KPIs
· Identify opportunities to scale AI and advanced analytics across functions
4. Market Intelligence & Strategic Insights
· Oversee delivery of competitive intelligence, market monitoring, and forward-looking insights
· Ensure consistent reporting and synthesis of market trends, earnings insights, and industry dynamics
· Provide thought partnership to senior leadership on market outlook, risks, and opportunities
· Support strategic initiatives such as revenue growth management, pricing, digital, and market modeling
5. Business Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement
· Act as a key strategic partner to senior leadership, business units, and functional teams
· Lead recurring stakeholder engagement through 1:1s, steering committees, and executive updates
· Translate business priorities into analytics and data science opportunities, and vice versa
· Ensure alignment and communication across functions including IT, Product, Sales, Finance, and Operations
6. Program & Portfolio Execution
· Oversee a diverse portfolio of initiatives including:
o AI and machine learning projects o Digital CoE alignment and data integration partnership with IS
o Strategic planning and analytics support
o Market intelligence and reporting
· Ensure coordination across large, cross-functional programs (e.g., integrations, digital initiatives, enterprise planning)
· Track risks, dependencies, timelines, and outcomes across all major initiatives
7. Strategic Planning & Enterprise Support
· Support annual and long-range strategic planning processes
· Lead analytics-driven inputs into strategy development (e.g., market sizing, pricing insights, performance analytics)
· Facilitate development of executive materials, including strategy cascades and leadership presentations
8. Financial & Vendor Management
· Manage CoE budgets, vendor contracts, and investment decisions
· Evaluate and optimize spend across analytics tools, data sources, and external partners
· Ensure ROI and value delivery from all third-party engagements
Qualifications
· 8–12+ years of experience in analytics, strategy, market intelligence, or related fields
· Proven leadership experience managing teams across analytics, data science, or insights
Strong understanding of:
o Advanced analytics use cases and AI/ML concepts
o Market intelligence and competitive analysis
o Business strategy and financial drivers
· Experience managing cross-functional programs and senior stakeholder relationships
· Strong communication and executive presentation skills
