Bookkeeper
Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records by recording daily transactions and keeping bookkeeping documentation current and organized.
• Process vendor invoices, prepare payments, and track outgoing obligations to support timely accounts payable activities.
• Manage customer billing, post incoming payments, and follow up on outstanding balances to keep accounts receivable up to date.
• Complete bank and account reconciliations on a regular basis to verify balances and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Use QuickBooks to enter, review, and update financial data while helping ensure consistency across accounting records.
• Assist with routine reporting and account review activities to support visibility into financial performance and cash activity.
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience performing bookkeeping duties in a detail-focused business environment.• Working knowledge of QuickBooks for maintaining financial records and processing accounting transactions.
• Hands-on experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Ability to perform bank reconciliations accurately and investigate variances when needed.
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.
• Effective organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle recurring deadlines.
Compensation
