IT Equipment Deployment Lead
Responsibilities:
• Lead on-site PC and desktop deployment activities while assisting hands-on with hardware setup, replacement, and rollout tasks.
• Coordinate small teams during implementation projects to ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently, and according to client expectations.
• Work closely with the assigned Project Manager to align deployment schedules, site readiness, staffing needs, and daily priorities.
• Monitor progress at client locations and address issues quickly to reduce delays and maintain project momentum.
• Communicate status updates, risks, and field observations to stakeholders throughout each deployment effort.
• Verify that devices are installed, configured, and delivered in accordance with project requirements and operational standards.
• Support travel-based deployment assignments and adjust to changing timelines, overtime needs, and client-driven scheduling demands.
• Help maintain organized deployment documentation, asset tracking, and completion records for each engagement.
Qualifications:
• Experience leading or coordinating desktop, PC, or end-user hardware deployment projects.• Hands-on background in desktop deployment, device setup, and workstation replacement activities.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple moving parts in field-based projects.
• Clear and attentive communication skills for working with project teams, clients, and end users.
• Ability to travel to client sites and work schedules that may include overtime based on deployment demands.
• Comfortable supervising small teams while also contributing directly to technical rollout work.
• Capable of identifying and resolving deployment issues in a fast-paced support environment.
Compensation
