Sr. Accountant
We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team in Lenexa, Kansas and help strengthen the financial operations of a growing organization. This role offers broad exposure across core accounting activities, including reporting, close processes, reconciliations, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate brings strong GAAP accounting knowledge, a careful eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively in an evolving, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement preparation
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure financial accuracy
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with inventory accounting and periodic counts
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Prepare audit support documentation
- Improve accounting processes, controls, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies
- Support accounting system optimization
- Assist with accounts payable and other ad hoc projects
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3–5 years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with large data sets
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Compensation
