Compensation: $85.50 to $99 Hourly

Robert Half is partnering with a growing consumer products organization to identify a Commercial Contracts Attorney to support a lean and collaborative legal team during a period of significant growth and increased workload following a recent acquisition.

The successful candidate will work closely with legal leadership and assist with a variety of commercial contracting, marketing review, and day-to-day legal matters. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to gain or expand in-house experience within a dynamic business environment.


Location: Tarrytown, New York

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (Hybrid) or Fixed-Term Contract (Remote)

  • Hybrid candidates (3 days onsite per week) will be considered for a 3–6-month contract-to-hire opportunity.
  • Remote candidates will be considered for a 3–6 month fixed-term contract assignment.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 35–40 Hours per Week


Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, negotiate, and revise a variety of commercial agreements
  • Support day-to-day contract management and legal review processes
  • Assist with marketing and advertising review and approval workflows
  • Partner with business stakeholders to provide practical legal guidance
  • Identify, assess, and escalate legal risks when appropriate
  • Support legal initiatives related to business growth and acquisition activity
  • Manage a high volume of contracts and legal requests in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys and legal leadership on special projects and ongoing matters

Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Approximately 3+ years of legal experience
  • Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements
  • Law firm and/or in-house legal experience
  • Strong contract negotiation and issue-spotting skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail
  • Active bar license in any U.S. jurisdiction preferred, but no specific state admission is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior in-house legal experience
  • Experience supporting consumer products, healthcare, OTC products, medical devices, dietary supplements, cosmetics, or similar regulated industries
  • Familiarity with marketing and advertising review processes
  • Understanding of FTC advertising regulations and compliance considerations
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and business teams



Compensation

$85.50-$99.00 Hourly
