Paralegal
Responsibilities:
• Manage litigation files and maintain organized case records using case management software to support accurate tracking of deadlines, filings, and matter status.
• Coordinate discovery activities by preparing, reviewing, and organizing document productions, responses, and related materials for civil litigation cases.
• Draft legal documents, correspondence, and other case-related materials for attorney review, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with procedural requirements.
• Prepare and submit electronic filings in both state and federal courts while monitoring filing confirmations and resolving submission issues as needed.
• Support trial preparation by assembling exhibits, witness materials, pleadings, and other documents required for hearings, depositions, and trial proceedings.
• Communicate with attorneys, court personnel, clients, and outside parties regarding scheduling, case updates, and document requests.
• Track litigation deadlines and procedural requirements to help ensure timely responses, filings, and case activity throughout the matter lifecycle.
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience supporting civil litigation matters in a paralegal or closely related legal support role.• Hands-on knowledge of discovery processes, including document collection, organization, and production support.
• Experience preparing legal correspondence and drafting case-related documents for attorney review.
• Proficiency with electronic filing procedures for both state and federal courts.
• Ability to use case management software to maintain accurate records and manage competing deadlines.
• Familiarity with trial preparation tasks, including exhibit organization and compilation of hearing or trial materials.
• Strong written communication, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
