HR Recruiter

We are looking for an HR Recruiter to support hiring efforts for our client in the Bloomfield, Connecticut area. This Contract position will manage recruitment activities from talent identification through offer coordination, helping teams attract candidates with relevant experience in a timely and organized way. The ideal candidate brings a strong recruiting background, communicates effectively with candidates and hiring managers, and is comfortable working within applicant tracking systems to keep the process efficient and well documented.

Responsibilities:

• Lead recruitment activities for assigned openings, from intake discussions through candidate selection and onboarding coordination.

• Build strong candidate pipelines by using proactive sourcing methods across job boards, industry networks, and other recruiting channels.

• Conduct candidate screenings and interviews to evaluate experience, qualifications, and overall alignment with position needs.

• Partner with hiring managers to define role expectations, recommend recruiting strategies, and provide updates throughout the hiring process.

• Maintain accurate candidate records, job postings, and workflow activity within the applicant tracking system.

• Monitor recruiting progress and share insights on pipeline activity, hiring challenges, and market availability of talent.

Qualifications:

• Experience managing recruiting for a variety of corporate and specialized positions.

• Demonstrated ability to source candidates through multiple channels and develop strong talent pipelines.

• Strong interviewing skills with the ability to assess candidate fit based on role requirements.

• Proficiency using an applicant tracking system to manage requisitions, candidate records, and recruiting workflows.

• Effective communication and relationship-building skills when working with hiring managers and applicants.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple openings and priorities at the same time.
