Receptionist

We are looking for a detail-oriented Receptionist to support daily front-desk operations for a contract position in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. This role serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, helping create a welcoming and organized office environment. The ideal candidate is courteous, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple administrative tasks while maintaining strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
• Greet guests promptly and provide a positive, welcoming first impression upon arrival.
• Manage a multi-line phone system, answer incoming calls efficiently, and route each call to the appropriate contact.
• Assist visitors with sign-in procedures, general inquiries, and directions within the office.
• Maintain the reception area so it remains orderly, presentable, and ready for daily business activity.
• Provide administrative support such as handling basic clerical tasks, message taking, and scheduling assistance as needed.
• Coordinate communication between visitors, staff, and management to ensure smooth front-office operations.
• Record and relay accurate messages in a timely manner to support responsive internal communication.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a receptionist, front-desk, or administrative support role.
• Ability to operate a multi-line phone or switchboard system with confidence and accuracy.
• Strong verbal communication skills and a detail-oriented, service-oriented demeanor.
• Comfortable interacting with visitors and directing them appropriately based on their needs.
• Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage several tasks at once.
• Reliable attendance and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced office setting.

Compensation

$18.00-$18.00 Hourly
