Accounting Clerk

We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to support core financial operations for a Contract position based in Framingham, Massachusetts. This role will focus on maintaining accurate payables and receivables activity, preparing routine accounting entries, and helping keep records organized and up to date. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with financial data, using accounting software efficiently, and contributing to a dependable day-to-day accounting process.

Responsibilities:
• Process vendor invoices, verify supporting details, and ensure timely handling of accounts payable transactions.
• Record customer payments, monitor outstanding balances, and maintain accurate accounts receivable records.
• Perform regular bank account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to support clean financial reporting.
• Prepare journal entries and enter financial data with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Use QuickBooks and Ramp to manage transaction records, coding, and day-to-day accounting activities.
• Review invoices and related documentation to confirm completeness, accuracy, and proper entry into the system.
• Assist with maintaining organized accounting files and support routine reporting needs for the finance team.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with both accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks in an accounting or bookkeeping environment.
• Familiarity with invoice processing and accurate financial data entry.
• Ability to complete bank reconciliations and prepare journal entries.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records.
• Comfortable using accounting systems and digital tools to manage daily transactions.

Compensation

$23.75-$27.50 Hourly
