Project Manager - GRC
We are looking for a Project Manager to join a Security & Compliance team in a contract-to-permanent position. This opportunity is well suited for a detail-focused individual who enjoys coordinating structured work, supporting audit and compliance efforts, and partnering with cross-functional teams. The role offers exposure to governance, risk, and compliance activities while contributing to documentation, vendor review processes, and ongoing security-related initiatives. Candidates who are organized, adaptable, and eager to grow within a process-oriented environment will be well positioned for success.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate audit-related activities by gathering, organizing, and tracking supporting evidence for internal and external reviews.
• Partner with business stakeholders to obtain required documentation and ensure materials are submitted accurately and on time.
• Support compliance programs through record maintenance, document review, and preparation for assessments and audits.
• Assist with third-party risk evaluations by collecting vendor security materials, audit reports, and compliance questionnaires.
• Review vendor documentation to identify missing information, potential concerns, or items requiring escalation to senior reviewers.
• Monitor remediation items, audit observations, and compliance tasks to help teams stay aligned on deadlines and follow-up actions.
• Contribute to security assessment processes, including administrative support for penetration testing reviews and related documentation.
• Maintain accurate information within governance, risk, and compliance tools while helping improve reporting and workflow efficiency.
Qualifications:
Required
- 1-3 years of experience in compliance, audit, risk management, information security, internal audit, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel.
- Ability to learn new systems, processes, and compliance frameworks quickly.
Preferred
- Experience supporting SOC 1 and/or SOC 2 audits.
- Exposure to Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) programs.
- Familiarity with vendor risk management processes.
- Experience using GRC tools or compliance management platforms.
- Background in accounting, auditing, cybersecurity, information systems, or a related discipline.
- Understanding of security assessments, audit evidence collection, or compliance documentation.

Compensation
