Sr. Paralegal

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Paralegal to support complex litigation matters in Dallas, Texas. This role plays a key part in organizing case activity, preparing filings and legal documents, and coordinating trial readiness from early case assessment through resolution. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in c commercial litigation, excellent attention to detail, and confidence working with attorneys, clients, courts, and outside professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Manage litigation files throughout the life of each matter, ensuring deadlines, discovery activity, motion support, and trial preparation remain on track.

• Prepare, edit, and finalize a range of legal materials, including pleadings, correspondence, discovery documents, and case-related submissions.

• File court documents accurately in Texas state and federal courts using the appropriate electronic filing systems and procedural requirements.

• Review briefs, memoranda, and other legal papers for citation accuracy, formatting, grammar, and overall quality before submission.

• Assemble deposition binders, trial notebooks, exhibits, and witness materials to support attorneys during hearings, depositions, and trial.

• Coordinate with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders through virtual and in-person meetings to clarify case status, upcoming actions, and document needs.

• Communicate with court personnel to arrange hearings, trial settings, and other scheduling or procedural matters.

• Conduct factual research and review public records to help develop case strategy and identify potential claims, defenses, or supporting evidence.

• Provide hands-on support during trial preparation and attend trial proceedings as needed to assist the legal team on site.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience as a paralegal supporting construction disputes, commercial, or employment litigation matters.

• Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, including discovery, motion practice, document management, and trial support.

• Hands-on experience with electronic filing in Texas state courts and federal courts.

• Ability to draft, revise, and proofread legal documents with a high level of accuracy and professionalism.

• Familiarity with preparing deposition materials, exhibits, witness files, and other trial-related documentation.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with attorneys, clients, court staff, and external professionals.

• Strong research skills, including experience reviewing public records and gathering facts relevant to litigation matters.
