Receptionist
Responsibilities:
• Welcome visitors and walk-in customers, notify staff of arrivals, and maintain an organized and efficient front desk flow throughout the day.
• Manage inbound calls on a multi-line phone system, address routine inquiries, and route customer concerns to the appropriate team members for prompt follow-up.
• Review and process new customer credit application paperwork with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Receive incoming mail and packages, prepare outbound shipments through approved carriers, and collect mail from the post office box as needed.
• Provide administrative support such as preparing documents, entering information, and recording notes for scheduled meetings, including Monday morning discussions.
• Assist with payroll-related distribution tasks and help coordinate uniform ordering and shipment for employees.
• Complete daily data download activities, support weekly ingredient inventory reporting, and maintain organized records for operational use.
• Scan, file, and maintain bills of lading and other shipping documentation for the Shipping Department.
• Identify practical improvements to front desk procedures, equipment use, and administrative processes while taking on additional duties as business needs change.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative support role.• Ability to manage a multi-line phone system while providing courteous and attentive customer service.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel; experience with spreadsheets is preferred.
• Comfortable handling mail, shipping and receiving tasks, document filing, and general office coordination.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and maintain accuracy in a busy environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with visitors, customers, and internal teams.
• Ability to sit for extended periods, perform frequent hand and arm movements, and lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Capability to work in a manufacturing office setting with close visual focus and attention to detail.
Compensation
