Customer Service Representative
We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support a busy logistics operation. This Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing customer communication with delivery coordination in a fast-moving warehouse office setting. The person in this role will help keep scheduled deliveries on track, provide timely updates to customers, and resolve service concerns with professionalism.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor daily delivery activity for a high volume of drivers and maintain awareness of route progress throughout the day.
• Communicate with customers to provide order status updates and address questions related to scheduled deliveries.
• Adjust delivery appointments when changes occur and coordinate revised timing with customers in a clear and timely manner.
• Respond to inbound service issues involving orders or delivery concerns and work toward prompt resolution.
• Contact customers before scheduled delivery dates to verify availability and confirm appointment details.
• Conduct follow-up calls after deliveries to gather feedback and encourage survey participation.
• Enter and maintain accurate service and delivery information in internal systems and spreadsheets.
• Collaborate with dispatch and operations teams to support smooth delivery execution during peak seasonal demand.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience in customer service, dispatch, call center support, or a similar fast-paced service environment.• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to handle customer interactions professionally and confidently.
• Comfortable coordinating multiple delivery updates and managing shifting priorities throughout the day.
• Accurate data entry skills and close attention to detail when recording customer and delivery information.
• Basic Excel knowledge, including navigating spreadsheets and entering information efficiently.
• Willingness to work a variable schedule that may include weekdays, Saturdays, and select Sundays during peak season.
• Ability to learn new software tools and internal processes with training.
Compensation
