Project Coordinator
We are looking for a Project Coordinator to support reconstruction efforts by keeping projects organized, documented, and moving forward in Memphis, Tennessee. This contract opportunity with permanent potential is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can balance administrative coordination with consistent communication across internal teams and partners. The role works closely with project leadership to help maintain compliance, manage timelines, and support billing activities throughout the project lifecycle. This is ideal for someone who has been in the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
• Support the Project Manager with day-to-day coordination of reconstruction assignments from initial intake through final closeout.
• Create and maintain organized project records, ensuring required documents are complete, accurate, and readily accessible.
• Track deadlines, reporting requirements, and service expectations to help keep projects aligned with agreed turnaround times.
• Communicate with insurance adjusters, carriers, and agents to share status updates, secure approvals, and address missing or outstanding documentation.
• Prepare and submit project estimates for review and authorization by insurance stakeholders.
• Distribute work authorization paperwork, follow up on signatures, and confirm approvals are in place before work begins.
• Assist with invoice preparation and billing support by gathering backup documentation and verifying file completeness.
• Provide administrative support such as handling inbound inquiries, coordinating information between teams, and helping resolve customer-related issues.
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience in project coordination, project support, or administrative roles within a service-driven or project-based setting.• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with customers, internal teams, and external partners.
• High level of attention to detail, especially when handling documentation, timelines, and compliance-related tasks.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-moving environment while meeting deadlines and service level expectations.
• Customer service experience with a thoughtful approach to answering inbound calls and assisting clients.
• Familiarity with construction projects, billing support, or insurance-related documentation is preferred.
Compensation
