REMOTE: Litigation Attorney

Litigation Attorney (Contract) — Fully Remote

Robert Half Legal is partnering with a midsize defense litigation firm in its search for a California-barred Litigation Attorney for a fully remote contract opportunity. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with strong defense litigation experience who excels in law and motion practice and is a high-level legal writer.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle substantive law and motion work in defense litigation matters
• Draft, review, and revise a variety of pleadings and motions, including:
• Conduct legal research and develop persuasive written arguments
• Support case strategy through motion practice and briefing
• Collaborate with litigation teams in a remote environment while managing deadlines effectively

Qualifications:

Qualifications

• Active California Bar admission required
• Prior experience in defense litigation
• Demonstrated strength in legal research and writing
• Significant experience with California law and motion practice
• Proven ability to independently draft high-quality motions and related briefing
• Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week

• Pay Rate: $65-$90/hour, depending on experience
