Accounts Receivable Specialist – Healthcare Services

Help Drive Financial Success While Delivering Outstanding Customer Service

A growing healthcare services organization is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join its accounting department. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys balancing customer communication with analytical problem-solving while ensuring timely payment collection and accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining strong relationships with both internal teams and customers.

Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable

• Generate and distribute customer invoices
• Apply daily cash receipts and electronic payments
• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
• Coordinate payment resolutions with customers and internal departments

Financial Support

• Prepare AR reports for management
• Assist with month-end close activities
• Maintain customer account documentation
• Support audit requests and account reconciliations

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of accounts receivable experience
• Experience with medical billing or healthcare accounting is a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines while maintaining accuracy
