Senior Network Engineer

I'm partnering with an organization seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and security of complex enterprise network environments across both traditional infrastructure and cloud platforms.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining network architecture, cybersecurity, cloud connectivity, and operational excellence in a highly visible technical leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-scale LAN/WAN, datacenter, and cloud network infrastructure

✅ Lead administration and optimization of next-generation firewalls, VPNs, and network security technologies

✅ Build and support secure hybrid environments connecting on-premises infrastructure with Microsoft Azure

✅ Drive cybersecurity initiatives including network segmentation, zero-trust architecture, risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response

✅ Secure and support OT/industrial environments, including manufacturing and operational systems

✅ Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud migrations, infrastructure projects, and application deployments

✅ Develop network standards, security policies, and technical documentation

✅ Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams

Qualifications:

What We're Looking For

✔ 5+ years of experience in Network Engineering and Cybersecurity

✔ Strong experience with LAN/WAN networking, firewalls, network security, and Microsoft 365 security technologies

✔ Experience working across both IT and OT environments

✔ Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, IEC 62443, and SOC 2

✔ Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences

Nice-to-Have Skills

⭐ PCNSE, CISSP, CCNP/CCIE, or Azure Network Engineer certifications

⭐ Automation and scripting experience with PowerShell or Python

⭐ Experience with cloud security, DevSecOps, IDS/IPS, and DDoS protection solutions

Compensation

$120,000.00-$130,000.00 Yearly
