Senior Finance Analyst

Falls Church, VA 22042, US Full Time
Compensation: $90 to $110 Yearly

Our client, a growing technology-enabled services organization, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its Finance team. This role offers the opportunity to partner closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial modeling skills, a solid accounting foundation, and experience analyzing business performance within a recurring-revenue or services-based environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly financial and operational variance analysis, identifying key business drivers and trends.
  • Support the monthly close process through collaboration with accounting and business leaders.
  • Calculate and administer variable compensation programs, including commissions, bonuses, and incentive accruals.
  • Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance three-statement financial models and other decision-support tools.
  • Prepare management reporting packages, executive presentations, and ad hoc analyses.
  • Partner with Finance, HR, and Payroll to maintain accurate headcount, compensation, and departmental allocation data.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure consistency and integrity of financial and operational data.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data quality, and overall financial planning efficiency.
  • Support strategic initiatives through financial analysis and business case development.



Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in FP& A, corporate finance, financial analysis, or a highly analytical business function.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to build and maintain complex financial models.
  • Experience working in a technology, services, subscription-based, or recurring-revenue environment preferred.
  • Exposure to ERP and planning/reporting systems
  • Experience supporting commission, bonus, or incentive compensation calculations strongly preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively partnering with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying solutions and process improvements.

$90,000.00-$110,000.00 Yearly
