Network Architect

We are seeking an experienced Network Architect to lead the design, implementation, and long-term strategy of a large-scale, carrier-grade network environment. This individual will be responsible for architecting highly available, scalable, and secure network infrastructure while serving as a technical leader for routing, switching, backbone connectivity, and network resiliency.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise and carrier-grade network architectures
• Lead routing and switching strategies, including BGP, OSPF, and Layer 2/Layer 3 networking
• Architect highly available and scalable network solutions
• Develop standards for network performance, redundancy, and security
• Participate in network modernization initiatives and infrastructure upgrades
• Create and maintain network diagrams, procedures, and technical documentation
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and operations teams
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership on complex projects
• Support critical incidents, maintenance activities, and root cause analysis

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of network engineering or architecture experience
• Strong expertise with:
• BGP
• OSPF
• Routing & Switching
• Network Design
• High Availability & Disaster Recovery
• Experience supporting enterprise, ISP, telecom, or large-scale environments
• Hands-on experience with platforms such as:
• Juniper
• Cisco
• Nokia
• Calix
• Similar carrier-grade technologies
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, JNCIE, or similar certifications
• Experience with MPLS, SD-WAN, IPv6, and network automation
• Cloud networking experience (Azure or AWS)
