The Office of Child Development (OCD) is a university-community partnership within the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Education that is building the bridge between research and community engagement to improve services, practices, and policies for young children, youth, families, and the adults in their lives. Through interdisciplinary collaborations across research, practice, and policy, OCD turns knowledge into action and responds creatively and collaboratively to the challenges facing children in Pittsburgh and around the world. OCD houses a team of evaluators, researchers, and practitioners working alongside community partner organizations to co-create solutions to community identified problems.
