As a VSB Dean’s Office Student Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in representing Villanova University and fostering a positive campus experience for prospective students, alumni, and guests. You will gain hands-on experience supporting key administrative functions across our Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (ODEI), Strategic Initiatives, and Finance & Administration teams.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities include answering phones, responding to inquiries, managing mail and campus deliveries, maintaining organization of storage supplies, and assisting with a variety of administrative tasks such as data entry, newsletter preparation, and light graphic design. You’ll also support event planning and execution, including setting up materials, coordinating AV equipment, and arranging furniture as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a professional, reliable, and detail-oriented student with strong communication and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate can follow instructions, take initiative, work independently, and maintain a positive and welcoming presence—especially during events. This role may involve light physical tasks such as lifting and moving tables, chairs, and boxes. |

Applicants must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate student at Villanova University; this opportunity is ideal for first- and second-year students.
Availability for 6-10 hours per week, with flexibility for special events and occasional Friday shifts, is required. Candidates must be able to commit to working 3 or more of the following shifts each week with 2 or more shifts that end at 5pm.
