ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Client Events Specialist, you'll be the creative force behind the firm's client-facing events from thought-provoking seminars that showcase our practices' expertise to elegant dinners and receptions that deepen client relationships. - Bring events to life support the planning and execution of client programs including CLE seminars, receptions, dinners, and special events, managing multiple programs at once with guidance from senior team members.
- Own the details coordinate venues, vendors, catering, and AV, while building timelines, checklists, and run-of-show documents that keep every event on track.
- Keep budgets on point track spend for assigned events, support contract review, and flag cost concerns or variances before they become problems.
- Close the loop lead post-event wrap-up, from vendor follow-up and attendance reconciliation to gathering feedback that sharpens the next event.
- Fuel business development partner with Marketing and BD colleagues to ensure every event ties back to client engagement and firm-wide goals.
- Drive the invitation journey manage RSVP tracking, distribution, and follow-up communications so no client or contact falls through the cracks.
- Master the tech stack build and maintain CVENT registrations and Salesforce campaigns, keeping post-event data clean and reporting accurate.
- Grow as part of a team collaborate with Marketing and Client Events leadership, support senior colleagues on high-visibility events, and help shape team knowledge-sharing and process improvements along the way.
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field preferred (or equivalent professional experience), plus 3-5+ years of progressive event management experience, ideally in a law firm or professional-services setting managing events end-to-end.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the professionalism and confidence to engage attorneys and senior stakeholders.
- Excellent project management skills and exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and shifting priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Sound judgment on when to make the call and when to escalate throughout the planning process.
- Equally effective working independently or collaboratively as part of a broader team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, with CVENT (or comparable event platform) and Salesforce/CRM experience preferred.
- Maintains confidentiality on firm matters and is able to lift/push up to 25 lbs. and stand for extended periods during on-site execution.
- Reliably delivers events on time and on budget, builds strong relationships with attorneys and colleagues, and actively seeks feedback while taking on increasing responsibility over time.

Where required by law, salary ranges are stated below. Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus, overtime as applicable, health/welfare benefits, retirement contributions, paid holidays, and PTO. The range displayed is specifically for positions performed in those cities/states and may vary based on factors including but not limited to the following: local market data and ranges; an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience; and certain degrees, licensing, and certifications. We will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including Fair Chance Laws and Ordinances.
New York salary range: $80k to $112k
