Location: Grand Prairie, TX

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily production operations to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards. This role leads the production team, coordinates workflow, monitors performance, and drives continuous improvement to achieve production targets while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with company standards.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate production employees to achieve performance goals.
  • Schedule and assign work based on production priorities and staffing levels.
  • Ensure adherence to safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain product quality and operational excellence.
  • Identify production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance activities as needed.
  • Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation.
  • Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Warehouse, and Supply Chain teams to optimize production.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
  • Manage employee attendance, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies.
  • Conduct cycle time analyses for product review
  • Release work orders to production floor and close job orders once completed through production.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required.
  • Bilingual – English/Spanish required
  • 3–5 years of manufacturing supervisor experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement principles is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of production processes, quality systems, and workplace safety.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and manufacturing/ERP systems.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing or production environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Availability to work required shift, weekends, and overtime to support production demands.
