Job Title: Data Manager (ISR)

Reports to: Program Director

Classification: Exempt

Time Commitment: Full-Time Rotational 

Locaton: Bogota, Colombia


 

Position Summary 

 

The ISR Data Manager is responsible for the collection, organization, quality control, storage, integration, analysis support, and dissemination of intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) data. This role ensures that ISR information is accurately processed, securely maintained, and accessible to authorized personnel to support operational, strategic, and decision-making requirements. This position contributes as a team member to maintain high aircraft availability rates 365 days per year in the SOUTHCOM AOR. 


Essential Functions

 

Data Management & Governance

  • Manage ISR data throughout its lifecycle, including collection, ingestion, storage, retrieval, archiving, and disposal.
  • Maintain data quality, integrity, accuracy, and consistency across ISR systems.
  • Develop and enforce data management standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor compliance with security, intelligence, and regulatory requirements.


ISR Data Processing

  • Integrate data from multiple ISR sources, including sensors, platforms, databases, and intelligence systems.
  • Validate and reconcile data to ensure reliability and usability.
  • Support real-time and historical data analysis efforts.
  • Maintain metadata standards and data cataloging processes.


Systems Administration & Support

  • Manage ISR databases, repositories, and data-sharing platforms.
  • Coordinate with IT, intelligence analysts, and operational teams to ensure system functionality.
  • Troubleshoot data flow issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Support system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new technologies.


Reporting & Analysis Support

  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and data products for leadership and operational stakeholders.
  • Generate metrics and performance reports related to ISR operations.
  • Support analysts by providing structured and accessible datasets.
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.


Security & Compliance

  • Ensure proper handling of classified, sensitive, or proprietary information.
  • Implement cybersecurity and information assurance best practices.
  • Maintain audit trails and documentation for data management activities.
  • Support inspections, audits, and compliance reviews.You will work in a dynamic fast paced environment that requires team interaction and coordination of efforts.


Minimum Qualifications/ Education/Certifications 

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must possess a current security clearance at the TS/SCI level.
  • Must be able to maintain government eligibility requirements.
  • Meet regional entry requirements for deployment.
  • Must have a valid U.S. passport with no less than six months remaining.
  • Must be willing and able to deploy OCONUS.
  • Must be willing and able to work irregular hours in a military environment.
  • Ability to successfully pass a drug test.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Management, Intelligence Studies, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in data management, intelligence operations, ISR support, or related fields.
  • Experience working with databases, data repositories, and data visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of data governance principles and data lifecycle management.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Must be able to communicate analytic assessments clearly and succinctly both written and orally.
  • Familiarity with the SOUTHCOM AOR.
  • Experience with aircraft Avionics and ISR Systems. 


Preferred Skills 

  • Experience supporting military, defense, government, or intelligence operations.
  • Knowledge of ISR platforms, sensors, and intelligence workflows.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Python, GIS tools, data analytics, or business intelligence platforms.
  • Certification in data management, intelligence analysis, cybersecurity, or project management.
  • Experience with cloud-based data architectures and enterprise data systems.

Travel 

  • Travel and rotational deployment throughout the United States and locations outside of the United States, including austere locations, is required.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in a variety of physical conditions, including austere conditions.
  • Ability to wear a respirator or other required safety equipment.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
