We are seeking a proven Program Manager with a strong background in managing large projects to lead the successful execution of government programs. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in client-facing leadership roles, cross-functional team management, and experience working with a geographically dispersed team. The Program Manager II will be responsible for end-to-end program lifecycle management and will directly interface with government clients, industry partners, and various internal departments to ensure contractual obligations and performance goals are met.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary point of contact for government clients on one or more contracts
- Oversee program delivery, staffing, contract performance, and budget execution
- Manage cross-functional teams, including subcontractors and remote personnel
- Track and report on KPIs, milestones, risks, and financial metrics
- Lead the development and delivery of program reports, technical deliverables, and client briefings
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements and security standards
- Participate in capture management, proposal development, and business development
- Develop and mentor junior staff
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field
- 8–12 years of total experience, with 3–6 years in program/project management
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client engagement skills
- This is a remote position but the requires residing within the Washington D.C. area.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP or equivalent certification
- Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft and SharePoint
