Sr. Financial Analyst
Responsibilities:
• Direct budgeting cycles and rolling forecasts by gathering inputs, refining assumptions, and producing reliable outlooks for leadership review.
• Evaluate operating results, uncover meaningful trends, and present recommendations that support revenue growth, cost control, and stronger performance.
• Create recurring management reports that highlight key metrics, explain variances, and provide clear financial context for decision-makers.
• Build and enhance financial models used for long-term planning, investment evaluation, and business case development.
• Collaborate with department leaders to assess performance drivers, align financial expectations, and improve accountability across teams.
• Assist with close-period analysis through accrual validation, review of financial activity, and timely preparation of supporting reports.
• Conduct detailed analysis of profitability, spending, cash flow, and revenue patterns to identify risks and opportunities.
• Strengthen reporting processes by improving accuracy, streamlining workflows, and maintaining dependable financial data across systems.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives such as long-range planning, board-level materials, special analyses, and implementation-related projects as needed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in financial analysis, FP& A, corporate finance, public accounting, or a comparable environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of financial statements, budgeting practices, forecasting methods, and scenario-based modeling.
• Advanced Excel capabilities, including complex formulas, PivotTables, and development of robust financial models.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with close attention to detail and sound organizational skills.
• Clear communication skills with the ability to explain financial information to both finance and non-finance audiences.
• Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities in a fast-paced business setting.
• Experience with data analysis tools or ERP/reporting platforms such as NetSuite, Power BI, or Tableau is a plus.
Compensation
