Administrative Assistant
We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone who can keep records organized, respond to routine administrative needs, and provide dependable support to accounting-related activities. The right candidate will be comfortable handling a mix of office coordination, document management, and general administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment. This role will begin on a part-time schedule of approximately nine hours per week, with the potential to grow into a full-time position.
Responsibilities:
• Organize, maintain, and retrieve business records, financial documents, and supporting files as requested by internal stakeholders.
• Provide administrative support for accounting-related processes by gathering information, locating paperwork, and preparing materials for review.
• Enter data accurately into office records and spreadsheets while ensuring information remains current and well documented.
• Answer incoming calls, respond to routine inquiries, and direct messages to the appropriate contacts in a clear and organized manner.
• Support front desk and general office functions, including scheduling, document handling, and day-to-day administrative coordination.
• Help establish and improve filing systems to keep physical and digital records structured, accessible, and easy to manage.
• Assist with office organization efforts related to workspace setup and ongoing operational needs as the local office continues to grow.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in an administrative support or office coordination role.• Familiarity with assisting accounting or finance teams through document collection, record organization, or related administrative tasks.
• Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage inbound calls and communicate professionally with internal and external contacts.
• Proficiency with general office administrative duties, including filing, scheduling, and document management.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and follow through independently.
• Comfort working in a part-time role within a dynamic office environment.
Compensation
