Medical Receptionist
Responsibilities:
• Welcome patients and visitors warmly, manage front-desk interactions, and provide courteous assistance throughout the check-in process.
• Coordinate appointment calendars by scheduling, confirming, rescheduling, and canceling patient visits as needed.
• Gather and verify patient information during registration to help maintain accurate records and smooth office operations.
• Answer incoming calls, respond to routine inquiries, and direct messages or concerns to the appropriate clinical or administrative staff.
• Support daily medical office administration by handling general reception tasks, documentation, and patient-facing communication.
• Monitor waiting area flow and communicate updates to patients to help maintain an organized and efficient environment.
• Assist with front-office procedures related to patient intake and other administrative processes in accordance with office guidelines.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience working in a medical reception, healthcare front office, or similar patient-facing administrative role.• Demonstrated ability to manage patient scheduling and coordinate appointments accurately in a fast-paced setting.
• Familiarity with patient check-in procedures and routine reception responsibilities within a medical office.
• Working knowledge of basic medical terminology used in everyday front-desk communication.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a detail-oriented and compassionate approach to patient service.
• Solid organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency with standard office systems and confidence in learning workplace tools and administrative processes.
Compensation
