Front Desk Coordinator

We are looking for a detail-oriented Front Desk Coordinator to support day-to-day front desk operations for a contract position in San Francisco, California. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming environment, assisting visitors with confidence, and maintaining smooth entry and reception activities. The successful candidate will bring strong customer-facing skills, sound judgment, and a confident presence while helping ensure an organized and secure front-of-house experience.

Responsibilities:
• Welcome visitors and provide a courteous, welcoming first point of contact at the front desk.
• Manage building or floor entry by confirming access and directing guests appropriately.
• Receive incoming deliveries, scan packages accurately, and help coordinate their distribution.
• Observe security camera activity and report concerns or irregularities promptly.
• Support concierge-style assistance by answering questions and helping guests navigate the property.
• Maintain an orderly reception area and contribute to a positive on-site experience for staff and visitors.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated dependability and a consistent, detail-oriented approach to front desk support.
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills in a customer-facing setting.
• Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, concierge, or reception work is preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and assist guests in a friendly, solutions-focused manner.
• Comfort handling multiple front desk tasks while remaining attentive and organized.
• Basic confidence using workplace technology for package tracking and routine administrative tasks.

Compensation

$23.75-$27.50 Hourly
