Accounts Receivable Clerk

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk who will focus on reducing a backlog of receivables work by handling invoice-related tasks, posting incoming payments, and assisting with reporting. The ideal candidate brings hands-on accounts receivable experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Post and reconcile customer payments against open invoices with accuracy and timeliness.

• Retrieve invoice records, organize supporting documentation, and prepare files for review and processing.

• Scan and maintain invoice documentation to ensure records are complete, accessible, and properly filed.

• Assist with generating routine and ad hoc reports related to receivables activity and account status.

• Review delinquent balances and support follow-up efforts to help reduce outstanding past-due accounts.

• Identify discrepancies in billing or payment application and escalate issues for resolution when needed.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work with spreadsheets and basic reporting functions.

• Experience applying payments and reconciling invoice activity in an accounting or finance environment.

• Strong organizational skills with careful attention to accuracy and detail.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete tasks within deadlines.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with internal teams and account contacts.
