part-time billing coordinator
Responsibilities:
• Guide students and families through financial aid and billing processes by explaining available funding options and responding to questions clearly and professionally.
• Review applications and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy, following established guidelines and timelines.
• Prepare and coordinate aid packaging details, including scholarships, grants, loans, and work-study support, while maintaining accurate records.
• Answer inbound calls and written inquiries, resolve routine issues, and escalate more complex concerns when needed.
• Schedule appointments and follow-up communications to help students stay informed about deadlines, missing items, and next steps.
• Support billing-related administrative tasks such as account review, payment coordination, and documentation updates.
• Maintain compliance with applicable federal, institutional, and program-specific requirements when handling student financial information.
• Contribute to process updates and operational changes, including adjustments to internal tools or workflows, as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Experience in administrative support, billing coordination, financial aid services, or a related office-based role.• Ability to manage inbound calls and provide attentive customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to track schedules, documentation, and multiple deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with students, families, and internal teams.
• High level of accuracy when reviewing records, processing information, and maintaining confidential data.
• Proficiency with standard office software and data entry systems.
• Ability to work independently in a part-time Contract role while meeting established service and compliance expectations.
Compensation
