Intake Coordinator

Compensation: $23 Hourly

We are looking for a detail-oriented Intake Coordinator to support loss mitigation operations for a long-term contract opportunity in North Canton, Ohio. This position focuses on organizing and monitoring critical mortgage account documentation while helping maintain compliance with regulatory expectations and audit standards. The ideal candidate brings strong administrative discipline, comfort working in loan servicing environments, and the ability to keep multiple files accurate, current, and well-documented.

Responsibilities:
• Review, organize, and maintain documentation tied to mortgage accounts within the loss mitigation function.
• Track the status of records related to foreclosure activity, eviction matters, claims processing, bankruptcy files, and collection efforts.
• Ensure account files are complete, accurate, and updated in a timely manner to support servicing workflows and reporting needs.
• Assist with documenting issues, exceptions, and supporting materials connected to regulatory reviews and audit observations.
• Coordinate intake activities by gathering, validating, and routing incoming case information to the appropriate teams or systems.
• Use Sage Loan Service and related content management tools to enter, update, and retrieve account information and supporting documents.
• Work with internal partners and external stakeholders, including title-related contacts when needed, to obtain required file documentation.
• Maintain organized tracking methods that help reduce missing items, improve follow-up, and support operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in intake coordination, mortgage servicing, loss mitigation, or a related administrative function.
• Working knowledge of mortgage banking processes, including familiarity with foreclosure, bankruptcy, claims, or collections documentation.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage high volumes of sensitive records accurately.
• Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
• Experience using loan servicing platforms, content management systems, or similar documentation tools; exposure to Sage Loan Service is preferred.
• Ability to support audit and compliance-related documentation needs in a regulated environment.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external business partners.

Compensation

$23.00-$23.00 Hourly
