HR Recruiter
Our client, a dynamic and growing organization in Farmington, CT, is seeking an experienced and motivated HR Recruiter to join their Human Resources team on a contract-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will have full-cycle recruiting experience, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies
- Create and post job advertisements across various job boards and recruiting platforms
- Proactively source passive and active candidates through online tools, networking, referrals, and other recruiting methods
- Conduct phone screens and coordinate interviews with hiring teams
- Maintain and update candidate records within the applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Extend offers and coordinate pre-employment processes, including background checks and onboarding activities
- Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
- Track recruiting metrics and provide regular hiring updates to management
- Support HR initiatives and special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
- 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience
- Experience recruiting for a variety of positions and skill levels
- Strong interviewing, sourcing, and candidate assessment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple openings and prioritize competing deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in corporate, agency, or high-volume recruiting environments
- Familiarity with employment laws and recruiting best practices
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, or similar sourcing tools
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar) is a plus
